I hold an M.Sc. in Mathematics, an MBA in Finance and Accounting, and a Professional Certificate in Data Science. Lifelong learning has always guided me, and I believe in continually expanding my knowledge to keep pace with a changing world.

For more than 30 years, I have supported students, teachers, and school communities, with a career shaped by a commitment to helping young people learn, grow, and achieve their full potential.

I currently work in the hospitality industry, where I continue to develop my leadership, management, and service skills. I am also actively involved with charitable organizations supporting seniors, low-income families, and vulnerable individuals across the GTA.

As a school board trustee, I will promote accountability, transparency, and responsible financial management. Most importantly, I will advocate for decisions that keep students, teachers, and classroom learning at the center of our priorities.

MY PRIORITIES

1) Prepare students for successful futures by ensuring they have the knowledge, skills, and guidance needed to succeed.

2) Reform student career counselling to provide current labour-market information and help students make informed education and career choices.

3) Support students with special educational needs through increased resources, appropriate supports, and inclusive learning environments.

4) Support student mental health by advocating for accessible resources and services for students experiencing mental-health challenges.

5) Promote evidence-informed decision-making by drawing on my background in Mathematics, Finance, and Data Science.

6) Practice responsible financial management and ensure resources are used effectively to support student learning.

7) Strengthen accountability and transparency in school board governance and decision-making.

8) Keep students and classroom learning at the centre of board priorities and resource allocation.
